After five years of painstaking research, Anabel Hernandez managed to unravel a series of relationships between members of the Mexican political class, the government of Felipe Calderón and the business class. The journalist, makes clear that it is not society's fault that the Mexican kingpins operate with impunity, but without the support of the powerful in this country, drug trafficking could not coexist.
